Piper Stone hit this one out of the park!
This Sci-Fi fantasy is a richly complex story about love, compromise, politics, and growth.
Krakar is warrior king of a dying planet. Sasha is a human school teacher and daughter of Earth’s president. When she is taken by Krakar through a lottery system, she falls head-first into a world she scarcely understands. What she doesn’t expect is undeniable attraction and love with a man whose heart and soul have been wounded through decades of strife.
I’m a fan of Piped Stone, but I’d put this one at the top of the list. Remarkable story I couldn’t stop listening to.

Awesome story
From start to finish this story had me wondering what was going to happen next. It was interesting to see how the author put it all together with this "lotto" idea and the different planets she came up with. I found it very interesting and unique and absolutely loved it. I found it great to find that even creatures could change in order to help their people, find it within them to put their differences aside. Do you think the author had a hidden message? Maybe some books do. Either way, this one was worth the listen and I definitely recommend it.
I believe I've heard the narrator before. She did an amazing job with this one.

lottery
Oh the narration of Mr Silky voice Skyler Morgan, very smooth and brings out the heat. A joy to listen too
Sasha participates in the lottery like every other single woman on earth must. Krakar sees Sasha and takes her has his pet, to use in any way he wants and when he wants. Sasha calls him a beast, a savage, and a monster, but he never hurts her. I did feel she need to grow up a little. Krakar has had a very hard life and is angry and cruel, but his feeling grow for his little pet. The two of them grow together, changing and loving. This book has some hot hot hot scenes .. spanking, punishment , intense heat.

It’s got potential..
This story strikes me as a first book in a sci-fi series usually does - there’s a lot of world building needed to really give you a feel for the story setting. The story has a lot of potential and if there were going to be more books to follow on, I would definitely give the next one a read. However, I did feel the balance of story to intimacy leant a bit more to the latter and I would’ve liked to see more story and also more build in the characters relationship and getting to know each other as people as that felt a bit rushed at times.
Narration was great, I’ve listened to a few books by them and I really enjoyed how they read this one.

What a great storyline
This is a very well written book. With great characters that have good strong personalities and a gripping storyline. With the added bonus of a brilliant performance from Skyler.

"No one touches what belongs to me."
I tried to finish, I really did. The narration by Skyler Morgan was great but the story was so tedious: shallow plot and even shallower characters, repetitious, contradictory, with sex, violence, brutality and pain trying to be erotic and failing miserable. A whole quagmire to wade through and I simply don't have the need or time for such banal titillation when there are so many excellent other books out there on my to be read list.
Two stars overall for a narration well performed.
