Summary
Why was finding a daddy to meet his needs so hard? Could a kink app be the answer to what was missing from Scott’s life?
Scott Rainsford is a gentle soul, friendly and hard working. He loves his job as a waiter in the critically acclaimed restaurant La Trattoria Di Amore. On the outside his life looks perfect, but Scott is lonely and craves to meet the one person that will give him what he needs.
Can The App be the answer?
The App offers Scott the freedom to search for the daddy he has always dreamed of.
It also gives Scott the choice to choose the one man he’d never have expected to want to be his daddy.
But nothing is simple, a first time daddy, a broken lift, a phobia, and past mistakes make for the perfect stormy start. Can two men, who seem worlds apart, go from enemies to lovers, and meet in the middle?
This is an MM gay romance with daddy kink, spanking, and enough steam to strip paint from wood. With two men that are too complicated for just one book. Warning this book is an HFN.

New Daddy and Sassy Sweet Boy
Daddy Liam is struggling to overcome his upbringing, and accept who he is.
Boy Scott is looking for a Daddy who will care for him, and accept his kinks. Scott is very sweet, but not afraid to demand what he needs.
this book is a HFN, where Scott & Liam find each other. Really looking forward to the next book to find out how they get on.

Great story with HFN
I so enjoyed this! You have two men from different backgrounds and with differing wants/needs who, through the use of an exclusive app, can find someone suited to their kink. In this case, Daddy kink.
Scott is not at all jealous of his best friend being engaged, ok maybe a lot, but he just wants his own daddy to care for him all of the time, not just the bedroom. Lucas is coming to terms and accepting who he truly is after dealing with a bad breakup that left him struggling for a little while. The App allows them to search for possibilities without truly putting themselves out there, yet. When texting leads to a meet up, the two men are in for a surprise along with a bit encounter in an elevator.
I love Scott and Lucas, they both draw you in and tug on your heart for their own reasons. I was rooting for them right from the start. Though this is billed as an enemies to lovers romance, that was really before this book so we only recount through the memories of the MC's. The two are hot together and you can really feel the chemistry between them.
There are a couple of characters from JP Sayle's other series, La Trattoria Di Amore and The Manx Cat Guardians, that have good and not so good files to play but I was so happy with how things played out for Scott and Lucas in the end.
Definitely left with a HFN but it's satisfying and I look forward to what comes next for the duo.
This is the first time that I've listened to Matt Haynes. I don't know if it's because I rarely hear English voices but it took a moment to get used to. He gives a good performance and each character has their own voice though occasionally my mind drifted as it didn't always hold my attention. I'm looking forward to the next book on their relationship to see how Matt does carrying on the story as I enjoyed the book and how things progress for the characters.

Scott and his search for a Daddy
Ah, poor Scott. He has a good job. He has loving parents. He has decent friends. What he doesn’t have is someone to love. Someone to love him. Someone who will treat him with respect. Someone who will nurture and love him. Someone to be his Daddy.
There are plenty of Daddy kink books out there, and this one fits in nicely. It’s part of the Playroom world which I love, so that was a bonus.
I empathized with Scott. Oh, I’m not looking for a Daddy, but I do understand the desire to not be alone. Have I looked at apps? Sure. Not like the one Scott downloads, though. With encouragement, he puts up a profile and finds several Daddies to reach out to. One hits all the right notes and after extensive discussions and negotiations, Scott agrees to meet Daddy L at a hotel.
Now, there is one man who makes Scott’s life miserable and that would be Luke. I think you can see where this is going. So when they wind up in a lift together, the pieces start to fall into place and the men realize they’ve been communicating with each other. So is the online attraction enough to overcome their real-life animosity?
Well, when the elevator breaks down and the men are forced to spend several hours together, things get interesting.
I’ll leave my review at that. The book definitely has an HFN and I know there’s a subsequent book and I’m heading that way now. I’ll also mention Matt Haynes who is a good narrator who is doing well in Ms. Sayle’s world. Off to the next…
