Summary
Leopold Gideon spent his childhood as the poor kid in a rich school until he met an older man who took him under his wing and into his bed, teaching him to not only survive but thrive among the elite and to never submit to anybody…except him. Just when Cal thinks all hope is lost, he discovers Gideon is the new headmaster for his school, leading him to devise a plan to get what he wants by blackmailing the older man into spending the next six weeks with him. But Cal is about to learn it doesn’t pay to blackmail someone who doles out his punishments.

Super hot and sweet
Not usually into the daddy thing but this was well done, not OTT. Plenty of spice and cute moment. Onley has fast become a favourite of mine ⭐️🌶

Love this story
This story had me heartbroken most of the way through. Callum who appears to be so soft hearted is left with circumstances no one should be tossed into. His dad is convicted and sent to prison and Callum is left with nothing. He has to figure out how to made enough to even pay for his insulin. He makes the decision that spending the night with Gideon is the price he will have to pay. Gideon on the other had is a broken guy also. He lost his husband and has decided to not get involved again. Their relationship has Gideon acknowledging that it was only his love of Grant, his husband, that kept them together. I feel Grant completely took advantage of Gideon. The good or bad issue is that these two are attracted to each other. There is so much to this story. Even though there is a difference in age I felt these two were on the same level. I enjoyed when Callum felt he had a small amount of revenge. I feel this is a very emotional story for so many reasons. I really enjoyed how the author handled the outcome of bad situations. I have read other stories by this author and she is one to follow. Her stories always hook me from the beginning. Liam DiCosimo did an excellent job narrating. He brought the characters to life and the he made the emotions real.

Love this book, love the audiobook!
I have read this book before and I loved it so much that I decided to buy the audiobook. so worth it, the narration is fantastic, the story is just so well written and so steamy. Daddy kink, age gap (no age play), real love, real problems. 5 stars all around!

Nice story
I really enjoyed this story. Not everything was believable but it was original. The narration was all right but the voice of Gideon must have strained the man. Only this character was void of any emotion. And he was a big part of the book.
