Summary
Nova’s life is miserable. Despite graduated top of her class as an aerospace pilot and being sent off to protect her galaxy, she wakes hundreds of years later in a scavenger vessel that is roaming space harvesting the vestiges of war. Thousands of years of planetary wars have wrecked the galaxies. All that remain are desolate worlds, remnant civilizations, deep space marauders, and scavengers. Nova’s only crewmate is the captain, a cruel man with dark desires. After two years of roaming space with him, she dreads waking up every day. That is until one day an evacuated supply depot appears in deep space. Inside are two people: a golden man and woman of unknown origins, drifting lost in deep sleep. Little does Nova know how much this couple will change her life, but the captain of the scavenger vessel has plans of his own. He was cruel before, but with these new arrivals on his ship, he has somehow become more domineering than he was before. He must be dwelt with, but how does someone deal with someone that owns a vessel synced with a bio-chip that will cause the ship to self-destruct if he dies? You'll have to listen to find out.
Disclaimer: This book starts off dark and grows into something fantastically beautiful. It is riddled with adventure, suspense, action, space battles, planetary exploration, advanced tech, and sex that is out of this world. Be careful, your audio device might melt.
