Summary
Two mismatched men. One unlikely friendship.
Jordan Kingsley is Hollydale’s most hated alpha. The man is seen as nothing more than a pretentious twit who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. So then why does he find himself diving into a pond to save a life?
Trevor Johnson is the most accident-prone omega around. Kicked out by his father after finding himself pregnant, he wanders around town trying to figure out what to do. A fall into the duck pond at Plumtree park is nearly his undoing, until Jordan rescues him.
Citing the old proverb that he’s responsible for the life he saved, Jordan shocks himself by befriending Trevor and offering him a place to stay. While other people have found the omega’s klutzy tendencies to be annoying, Jordan can’t help but be charmed.
Despite an age gap and the unplanned baby that’s on the way with no sire in sight, these unlikely friends just might find that they’re a perfect match.
Return to the world of Hollydale with a quirky romance filled with all the fluffy feels that you’d expect from a Hollydale novella. This is the 13th book of the Hollydale Omegas series but is absolutely able to be listened to as a stand-alone and definitely contains an HEA.
Warning: 18+ listeners only, please! And yes, this book contains mpreg, adults adulting in sexy grown-up ways, and way more than an occasional use of potty-mouth language.

Another great Hollydale listen
Awww I love the sweet story of grumpy, pretentious Jordan and sweet, clumsy Trevor. Jordan has realised how he has come across to Hollydale and is trying to repair that damage...and who better to assist with this than Trevor. These men are so adorable together. I love getting to see some old favourite characters in the passing (who doesn’t love Tom?).
The narration from Drew Bacca is spot on as always - the Hollydale books are such a pleasure to listen to.

My favorite so far!
I swear this book should be subtitled as How to Redeem a Twatwaffle in less than 30 minutes, because that's what Susi managed to do with Jordan. While I didn't like Jordan at all in the previous book in the series, Ms. Hawke somehow managed to make me forget all about Jordan's prior transgressions by chapter 2 in this story. The way he rallied to rescue Trevor, with some little ghostly intervention, and then helped him out, showing there was more to him than the snobby jerk we met before, just warmed my heart. And Trevor was a sweetheart, albeit a clumsy one. LOL I loved that they became friends before they even thought of getting together. They had great chemistry and it was amazing seeing them working together to make Jordan's hotdog cart into a success after a shaky start.
I loved catching up with Tom, Shane and Keith. I would've liked Trevor's dad to suffer because of what he did to Trevor, but beggars can't be choosers. Hahahaha! Still, I think this is pretty much my favorite book in the series and I hope it's not the last we've heard from the Hollydale Omegas.
Drew Bacca is just perfect for this series. He just brings the characters to life for me and enriches the overall experience so much more.

so cute!
omg this story was adorable! I remember both characters from the previous book and I was surprised by how well they worked together. They made such a cute pairing . I really loved this story. The characters were great, I loved the plot, it was fun and sweet. And the narrator was absolutely amazing! I had the best time listening to it.

I adored it
This is one of those fun books that you know will uplift you when you listen to it and will make your day brighter.
I really enjoyed it, not a long listen but no less meaningful because of it.

Surprisingly good
I am a huge fan of Susi Hawke, but I am not a huge fan of the rom-com genre in film and the blurb for this sounded very much like that. I was especially skeptical of the character of Trevor, who was described as extremely klutzy and accident prone. Combining him with Jordan who is one of the world's biggest grouches sounded like a recipe for a story that was too cute to be believable. I trusted the author, however, and gave it a try. I am overjoyed I did. These two are lovely together and the "sappy" level is perfect. Trevor was not at all annoying, he genuinely came off as lost and trying really hard to figure out his life. I felt for him so much. It was clear immediately that he and Jordan were going to be great together. Drew Bacca's performance was perfect here. I think it had a lot to do with making these characters three dimensional and believable. This is super sweet, but don't let that put you off even if you are wary of that description. You'll love these two guys together.

So sweet!
I was so excited when I discovered this audiobook, because not only this is book 13 in one of my favorite series, written by one of my favorite authors but also because it was read by Drew Bacca, a wonderful voice actor with a smooth voice. The story of Trevor and Jordan is sweet and endearing and after some initial angst that made me cry, everything settled just fine. I enjoyed a lot how Jordan took Trevor under his wing and how their relationship evolved, with a little ghosthly meddling, and of course Tom's blessing. Loved It!!

Loved
I loved how they pretended to be together along with an unplanned pregnancy and some surprising information makes this a brilliant book that got brought to life by the narrator.

I really liked this one!
This is only the second book I've read in this series but now I want to go and read/listen to more of them. I suspect that at least one of the MCs in this one, Jordan, has appeared in other books because he was apparently an alpha that most people hate. But even though I haven't read any of the other books that he may have appeared in it didn't matter as Freedom Spiced Omega stands alone just fine.
Once again, Drew Bacca gave an outstanding performance with the various voices he used for each character. He's becoming one of my favorite audiobook performers.
The blurb for the book is super accurate so I'm just going to say that this book kept me entertained throughout. I loved the slightly woo-woo vibe that one of the supporting characters gave off and wasn’t' too surprised when all was revealed. That I wasn't too surprised didn't diminish my enjoyment of the story at all. So much of this book was just really sweet but had a nice side of sexy. 😊
I loved how Jordan cared for Trevor and wouldn't let him run his-self down just because he's a little accident prone. The stories in this series are a perfect length for reading or listening to in one evening and I love that I can start one and almost be certain to finish it in one session as long as real life doesn't interrupt me. 😊
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

Sad to see the end
I’m so sad to see the end of The Hollydale Omega’s but this is a perfect ending to a wonderful series. I love seeing familiar faces pop up and seeing the evolution of some characters. Watching them grow up, fall in love and have families is perfect.
Drew Becca did an outstanding job bringing Jordan and Trevor (and of course Tom and our other favorite characters) to life. This whole series is an outstanding listen and I’m sad to say goodbye.

Ghostly meddling
Jordan and Trevor were just perfect together.
Jordan doesn't have the best reputation but he's hiding some painful baggage.
Trevor is the sweetest klutz.
His father was absolutely horrendous.
I loved seeing Jordan and Trevor develop their friendship first and seeing Jordan redeem himself was awesome.
Drew Bacca did an excellent job narrating.
Do yourself a favor and get this immediately if you want something short, sweet and fluffy.
