Summary

Endearing Short Story

This is a lovely and cosy reunion story of 2 former sweethearts resuming their relationship after years apart.

The narration was good and (because it’s a short story), the details are adequate, but not compelling, sufficient enough to make this a feel good tale.

Only 4 stars for the entire story because (without giving any spoilers), the resolution, whilst lovely, made me wonder what would be next for Cassie? But that’s just me…

I was given this audiobook for free in return for an honest review. It’s not my usual genre, but I enjoyed it very much and think that a compilation of short stories in this vein would sell well. It’s lovely and feel good (and spicy, but not gratuitously so).
