About this listen

Marika’s Legacy is explicit romance author Molly Synthia’s reimagining of the legend of Helen of Troy in modern times, and Leda’s Swan is the first installment of Conception, the story of Marika’s mother and the experience that conceives both Marika and her brothers. What secret lies within the ancient electrum necklace? Is she really transported to another time and another place? Is she really face to face with a god? Is she really ravished by power beyond comprehension, or is it all in her mind? The ancient Greek myth of Leda and the swan is updated and expressed with lush language, explicit sexuality, and respect for the source material.

This audiobook is not appropriate for minors but contains explicit sexual descriptions and should be read only by adults who won’t find that offensive and are legally able to purchase and read such content. Specifically, it includes sex as rough as might be expected when it occurs between a mortal woman and the god of thunder and lightning.

An Excerpt from Leda’s Swan

The craftsmanship was simply extraordinary, and I wondered what it took to work with metal - electrum Nikolas had called it - so many centuries before. I didn’t have any expertise with birds, but as far as I could tell, it was a pretty perfect representation of a bird’s feather, if the bird were made of metal.

There was something about holding a piece of ancient history in my hand that felt absolutely overwhelming and wonderful. I couldn’t help but imagine all of the glory of the Greek race. It wasn’t some kind of superiority or anything. The Greeks contributed astounding things to philosophy, knowledge, science, art, and more.
