Summary
Wendy Campbell was a shy girl. At twenty-six she worked as an administrative assistant in an open-plan office for Cross and Co. Wendy was not happy with her life. She didn’t have a permanent relationship or any friends. She had fallen out with her parents because of a stupid incident ten years earlier, and she hated her job. The only relief she had in her life was her ability to have wonderful dreams.
It was five days before Christmas when she started to get surprise gifts from her secret Santa. On Monday, she got an old brown leather belt, which she thought was ludicrous, so she threw it in the bin, but on Tuesday, she received a single leather slipper. After she opened the gifts at home, she dreamed about being spanked with them, and in the mornings, she was surprised at how excited it made her feel. On Wednesday, Wendy received a Mason and Pearson hairbrush, and on Thursday, a riding crop. Her dreams were becoming more intense, and she was beginning to wonder which part of her life was a dream and which was reality.
She finally meets her secret Santa, and her dreams of a better life come true.
