About this listen

Aaron Burr had quite a reputation as a "ladies man", but history books and biographies barely allude to that part of his life. He had many female friends, and a long list of sexual conquests. Written shortly after his death, this book claims to be a "tell all" of Burr's many amorous adventures. The descriptions of his "adventures" are rather explicit, so it is for adults only.

The veracity of all this could not, of course, be checked, because the author published the book anonymously, probably to protect himself from retribution. Whether true or not, one reviewer, with knowledge of Burr's history, had this to say: "It sounds like Burr." Another said this, "This brilliant history of the sex life of Aaron Burr was written by 'Anonymous' in 1860, and it's refreshingly frank. It reveals what Gore Vidal was afraid to write about this enigmatic character."

Not at all erotic, really what is the point of presenting rubbish like this?
