About this listen
Is there anything stranger, then a grandmother who decorates the walls in doorknobs? If those doorknobs are really a gateway of doors that lead to other realms...then maybe.
For centuries the Wasley women have guarded the gateway, and for those years the Guardians have been incomplete. When Aggie’s grandmother passed, the last things she expected was to be asked to join with eight hunky Guardians in order to help save a bunch of demon children who have been kidnapped. Through ever-changing storms and dangerous weather, they must figure out who is responsible and try and bring the children home in one piece. Too bad Aggie has to make a life-changing decision. Will she choose to accept her waiting powers by bonding with the Guardians or will she live the life of her ancestors and not fulfill her destiny?
IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a reverse harem novel featuring many hot men, steamy sex, and adult situations, magical creatures, demons, vampires, shifters, along with a woman who knows how to take charge of the situation, and so much more!

Enjoyed
I the narrator is really good and made the listening experience enjoyable.
Excellent story. I really enjoyed the overall premise, and I'm curious to find out more about these gateways into other realms.
A eight man harem wow. I truly enjoyed this book.

Five stars!!
I'm going to be honest, I thought the blurb sounded interesting, but I didn't think I would love it as much as I did. I love, love, love RH paranormal romance, but I have never read one with so many in the harem and I was worried it would be overkill. It was not. The author did a great job at developing the characters and I loved all the different personalities.
I liked that the ending wasn't a huge cliff hanger. I am excited to read the next book and grateful that I am not left with an anxious pit in my stomach like most endings of books that are in a series.
I enjoyed the narrator and for the most part, could tell the different characters by the voice changes. I wish the other books were available on audible right now, but I will just continue the series on kindle.
I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review.

Very good start to series.
I received this book free for an honest review.
After her Grandmother dies Aggie Wesley hears a noise the last thing she was expecting was to be faced by 2 of the most gorgeous men she had ever seen. They explain to her that for centuries the Wesley women have guarded the gateway between realms that just happens to be in her Grandmothers house. She just presumed her GM was eccentric having doorknobs decorating the room wall but she was told they are all gateways . She is asked to go along with them but wasn’t expecting to be asked to join the 8 sexy guardians and help them find out who is kidnapping children from the a Demon realm.
I loved this book from the start and Aggies sass towards a few of the men is great especially towards Mitchell who is a werewolf alpha and his attitude towards her really annoys her but she hits back with sarcasm that annoys Mitchell so much.
I haven’t listened to any RH where there’s been more than 4 men so I am looking forward to listening to more in the series to see how things progress . They ask Aggie to be the ninth guardian which is said to make all of them stronger and that she will be mated to each of them and gain some of their powers for herself. Her men are Vampire Xavie, Shifter twins Ren & Mitchell ,
Demon Mathius , Fae Eldon , Greyson mage , Kyrell incubus and Liel Elf up to now my favourites are Ren as he’s really funny and Eldon as he’s so sweet but things might change.

Great world-building
The Final Link, the first book in The Gateway Saga, is wonderfully written and a well-plotted fantasy romance. Erin Thornton has done an incredible job with the world-building and the characters; they were utterly fabulous. The storyline is both engaging and intriguing; my attention was captured immediately and held through the end.
Nicholas Cain did an excellent job with the narration; he emulated the characters and the emotions very nicely. Overall, The Final Link was an entertaining listen, one I'll recommend.
