Summary

Book One—Cutter's Hope

Faith. She’d managed to keep her namesake while in captivity, but now that she was free? The daunting task of rejoining society was in front of her, and it seemed that Marlin had to keep it for her.
Marlin can’t help how he feels about Faith. She was remarkably easy to like. The only thing he could do for her was to be there and keep his damn hands to himself which was the real challenge. Neither one of them knew if she would make it out of the darkness intact. Only time would tell about that.

Book 3—Charity for Nothing
Charity is home free with her degree under her belt and making a beeline straight for sunny Ft. Royal and her sisters, Hope and Faith. Excited to see them yet having been warned by Hope to watch herself when it came to the disarmingly charming ways of The Kraken, Charity never expected to walk right into the one man to flip all of her switches to the "on" position before she’d even taken a dozen steps into town.
Nothing was everything she liked. Tall, handsome, with a pair of eyes that any woman should swoon over. Just the right mix of tortured bad boy to pique all of her healer’s instincts. Charity knew that the men of The Kraken played for keeps, all except, it seemed, for this one.

MC Heaven !
This is the first 3 books in this series and an Amazing boxset.!!
I Love MC stories and this is a really fantastic set of stories about 3 sisters Hope,Faith and Charity whose lives become entangles with a Motor cycle club.
Each book will have you enthralled I became so invested in each sisters story they are super steamy and also emotional too,sometimes it was difficult to listen to the heartbreak.It covers some really difficult subjects and I fell in love wih all the characters I was introduced to.
The Narrators who are telling these stories are Phenomenal Bob Carter,Tammy Thomas,Ivy Randall and Bambi Orlyn are so expressive and really give their all 100%.
I enjoyed listening to their voices and they made the books come alive perfectly. I felt everything the characters were going through,due to these very talented narrators amazing abilty to tell a story.
I highly recommend this boxset and hope the other books will be made into audio too.
A.J Downey is s real gem at weaving an addictive MC series.

Amazing
Cutters Hope

I really enjoyed this book. It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. There’s a lot of trauma to deal with. I’m really looking forward to the next book to see if there’s a happily ever after. Great performance.
Marlin’s Faith

Wow. This is an amazing story of survival and redemption. With past ghosts still lingering this Alpha needs to heal his own wounds as well as help his charge. Fantastic performance.

Fantastic
A fantastic collection. Each book tells the story of one of the sisters and I loved all three stories. Hope's book centred around her search for her missing sister, Faith, who had been trafficked. She is one badass force to be reckoned with and I loved how she held her own and was as good in a fight as the members of the MC.
Faith's story was heartwrenching as she underwent withdrawal and PTSD after her traumatic experiences. Marlin was a super sweet and caring main lead.
Charity's story was as equally entertaining and round off the series very well. It was great to see the sisters all together after all they had been through. Nothing and Charity's story was full of ups and downs as Nothing struggled with his past and grief.
An entertaining listen from start to finish with narrators that bring the characters to life.

awesome trilogy
wow, the narrators did a good job of bringing this set of stories to life that I have to purchase the actual books now so I can follow them again, I thought Cutter and Marlin were great but I think Nothing/ Galahad was far more loveable.

Kraken MC thrilling ride series
The Virtues Box Set by AJ Downey
Cutter’s Hope, book 1
Narration by Bob Carter and Tammy Thomas
Hope is one kiss*ss woman! AJ has created a woman whose heart is huge for her sisters so much so when Faith goes missing she is on a mission to find her again. Even if she finds her dead. Faith was incredibly lucky to have a sister such as Hope. A hired contractor who taught various military and protective services folks how to protect themselves.
When she first meets Cutter, there’s definitely an attraction but one Hope has no time for. That is unless it will get Cutter’s MC to show her where baby sister is.
Cutter is like no president of an MC I have read before, he has compassion for all his brothers in arms and his extended family there.
Once they both become more trusting in each other, due to Cutter’s tenacity in getting Hope to trust him enough to find out why she’s really there. Once they are knowledgeable about why Hope is searching then we really see how a family of a MC is like. Lots of action and some wild sex scenes come about and held my attention until I finished the book.
AJ also dealt with a serious issue of human trafficking in this book.
So make sure you watch for that trigger if you will be effected by it.
Bob Carter’s voice is new and I think I fell in love with its richness and baritone. Tammy Thomas is also new to me, and it took me a bit to warm up to her voice but she really fits the personality of Hope to a T. Showing us that she can and does hold her own. Also shows us Hope’s softer side that needs Cutter’s love. Especially with the future being murky with a sick Faith to help heal.
Book 2 Marlin’s Faith
(Narration by Bob Carter and Ivy Randall)
This is Faith and Marlin’s story and continues directly from Cutter’s Hope.
Faith has been rescued from the clutches of deprived men who had abducted her and force her into human trafficking by controlling her with drugs pumped into her.
Thankfully Hope and the Kraken MC have found her but she’s in dire straits. But Marlin has her. He has a past that has dealt with addiction so he is asked to help in her healing. Along with a doctor and a psychiatrist they all work to get Faith back. It’s a struggle but with patience and perseverance they all make it through. But not without a bunch of consequences that pull all of the MC into the fray.
The development of the budding relationship between Faith and Marlin was encouraging and Marlin is one man to swoon over. Wow he has so much to offer Faith and he’s not afraid to let her heal so he can claim her as his very own.
I loved when Faith had a super spunky moment and thru Johnny’s wife Lynn into the water😂 and told her off! She was quite the ass!
The healing is happening at its own rate and seems like the group of men who had Faith may still be around and it’s a worry for them all.
Again loved Bob as Marlin in this book. Ivy Randall was good as Faith. Faith was subjected to a lot being abducted into sex slavery but I found her a tiny bit irritating at times but who the heck knows how a gal would behave having gone through the ordeal she did.
What I loved most was Faith’s belief in her sister finding her and her will at staying alive until she did! So much emotional trauma by Faith it’s no wonder she was an emotional wreak for awhile but Marlin was her saviour .
Seems like we are finally getting ready to meet the last sister Charity soon and I think I know who she may end up finding love with. Now I’m onto see if I am right in my suspicion.
Stay With Me a novella within the Virtues series.

Corinne was battered and almost died at the hands of her boyfriend. He was carted away and she did make it and is in a women’s shelter. She looks for the saviour every time an ambulance is close but hasn’t seen him since. One day she asks another paramedic to give her saviour her number.
Dominic hasn’t forgotten the women he saved either and they finally get together.
Nice quick story that relates to the final book in the Virtues Series.
Charity For Nothing Book 3 of The Virtues Series by AJ Downey
Narration by Bob Carter and Bambi Orlyn
Dominic is ‘Nothing’ in the MC, there’s so much in that name that evolves around this next book of the 3 book set.
Charity arrives and gets swept away by all of the MC members looking after her. And there’s one tortured soul who needs her help. Nothing is the one who needs her and she’s set her sights on doing just that.
Nothing still is in denial and depression over losing his wife Corrine and child. Yet is surprised to be attracted to Charity with just one look at her.
I loved Nothing’s growth in this book. All from giving into love again. Charity is the best person to pull Galahad out of his hiding place buried deep in Nothing’s soul.
This group are a real loving group and held each other’s backs against some seriously messed up people. There strength and commitment to the MC and it’s members are what I loved about this series.
AJ Downey deals with serious issues that can or do happen in real life. Her books show us how dealing with issues together with the caring and love of family and friends anything can be overcome.
I really enjoyed this series and know there are more stories to hear/read and I can’t wait! Just wish I had listened to this series a long time ago because I have met 5his lovely gal and would have loved to share the amazing emotions she gave me while listening to her books.

Annoying voices
I couldn’t listen to it all I gave it a couple of hours but couldn’t listen anymore. Keeper putting on a voice that sounded bored/ in pain and can’t believe I’m going to say it but was to much sex lol good story but found it really cringy with the voices
