最近、禅の本を読んでいて「これはちょっとよくわからないな」という表現がありました。禅を組んで悟りを開くと「世界を空間的にではなく時間的に捉えることができる」というのです。これが、どうもよくわからない。空間的にではなく「時間的」に世界を捉えるとは、どういうことなのか。 「時間的」に捉えたあとは、それ以前に捉えていた世界とは全然違って見えるそうなんです。「これは、一体どういう意味なのかなあ」と考えていたのですが、ある出来事をきっかけに「このことか」と思ったのです。それは何かというと、ゲリラ豪雨でした。 今は、スマートフォンにウェザーニュースなどのアプリを入れておくと、10分ごとの雲の動きが確認できますよね。さらに有料のアプリだとアラートつきで「今、雨雲が近づいています」なんてアナウンスもしてくれます。窓の外を見ると案の定、雨雲が近づいてくるのが見えたりする。それから5分くらいして実際に雨が降る。誤報もありますが、結構当たります。このアプリを使うようになって改めて実感したのが「天候は変化していくもの」だということ。 （本文より）小山龍介の「ライフハック・ストリート」はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/koyama.html
