Summary
Jay’s life took a tragic turn for the worse after seeking revenge on his uncle for destroying his sister’s sexual innocence. Spilling his uncle’s blood was the death of Jay’s compassion for humanity, and birth of his murderous rage.
While serving time in juvenile prison for the attempted murder of his pedophile uncle, he met Mike G. Together, they made plans to get rich, or kill trying.
After his release from prison, an old flame is rekindled between him and his childhood crush Tesha. She introduces him to the drug game, and teaches him the rules of the game. His burning desire to get paid buries him knee deep in the game. The humiliation of his sister’s cocaine addiction and his resentment for his former best friend Billie ignites a bloody war between him and a dangerous clique called the “Paper Boys.”
The death of the Paper Boy’s leader only adds fuel to a fire that can only be extinguished by Jay’s death. Jay’s greed sends him on a collision course of murder and unfulfilled dreams that can only end in two ways: jail or hell.
