About this listen

The exciting conclusion to Across Time! Separated from Henri by 20 years, Amelie discovers that what she thought was a weakness may be her greatest strength, and that nothing about her family and her gift is what it seemed. Now, with war on the horizon and a challenge she never saw coming, Amelie will learn what the prophecy really means for them—herself most of all.

Such a unique storyline

Sheer perfection. The audio was amazing. My two favourites Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East were incredible. This story is so unique. It’s sticks with you forever and it made my top reads of 2024 list. Incredible. I love Elizabeth’s writing and the plot and romance in this one is outstanding. Amalie and Henri are the definition of soulmates. This is not your typical romance book- this is an outstanding storyline and epic love story that breaks your heart and then puts it back together. I adored it

Impressive Story & Narration🎧Moving & Mesmerizing

Elle O’Roark blows me away with this exciting and emotionally moving conclusion to Amelie and Henri’s story which began in “Across Time”, a not to be missed story and start to this duet. The ending of that book left you wanting more, or more like needing more, wanting to know what happened when they traveled back in time to 1918, trying to find Marie and Henri’s mother and learn what happened. Once there, they do not get very far and they quickly learn they fell in the same trap as her mother and Amelie’s aunt and it is all evil. Amelie, aka Sarah, wants nothing more than getting back to Henri in 1938, which is made even more difficult because of her circumstances, but she does not give up and gets help from another time traveler. More pieces of the puzzle fall into place regarding the prophecy and their goal to make sure all goes as it should, though there are some who are trying to stop it. 1918 changed Amelie in ways she never would have imagined and when she finally makes it back to 1938, everything is heartbreakingly different and despite having plans, nothing went accordingly. There are so many layers to this story, an intriguing and cleverly plotted story that has lots of drama, angst, twists and turns, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments, gut wrenching moments, heartfelt emotions, and a timeless and meant to be romance that was tested through the times. Elle O’Roark, thank you for another amazing story, an unforgettable story that will stay with me for a very long time.

🎧📚🎧  Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East continue to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters to life, humanizing them with their voices and personalities. Ms. Brentmoor versatility and talent truly shine in every role, especially as Amelie, showcasing her personality, her fierceness perfectly. East is equally amazing as Henri, as well as several side characters, which they both nailed, accents included. They set the right tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates the already amazing story to another level.

Perfection!

What a heart wrenching, emotional, angsty, captivating conclusion to Sarah and Henri’s epic romance! The angst was so good and the twists and turns had me audibly gasping. The writing is brilliant! So much so that I could feel every single emotion while listening to this book. Elizabeth broke my heart and then put it back together with this book.

Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor were beyond phenomenal in this audiobook. These narrators captured the characters emotions and personality so perfectly and this made the audiobook utterly captivating and enjoyable.

an exceptional conclusion

I feel I have to be very careful with what I say in this review, because I am afraid to put spoilers out there and ruin it for other readers.
So I am trying very hard to hold back,I know I have a bad habit when I review that I tell half the story and I am trying to do better and be more mysterious but I can't help myself.
Across Eternity is an AMAZING Conclusion to Sarah/Amelie and Henri's story and WOW what a story it is...after that cliffhanger I have been so eager to know what would happen next.
I did NOT expect it to unravel the way it did.
I have to tell you my feelings were all over the place and I was frustrated and it completely shattered my heart.
The things that Sarah/Amelie went through made me just want to cry,she has such a rough ride and I honestly wanted to hug her, that girl needed the biggest of hugs.
Henri well what can I say about him I do Love him, but he really made me mad at him for what he did..Fair enough the information was false, but NO Henri why?..I was not ok with his actions.
But his beg for forgiveness redeemed him and my heart swooned.
This book has got to be the biggest rollercoaster of emotions you will ever ride upon.
Now what made this book so much more wonderful was the Fabulous Narration by Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor.
These two exceptional talents were so perfect with their roles as Sarah/Amelie and Henri,I absolutely loved listening to them as they took me on this journey through their voices.
Elle O'Roark has outdone herself with her imagination and her writing, putting together a timeless romance.
This is an excellent ending to an EPIC Love story.
Loved it.

Amazing Series!!

This is the fourth installment in the Parallel Series, a time travel romance. This series is so good, and captivating! Amelie and Henri's story continues where the third book left off. This installment is so emotional, raw, and enthralling, filled with angst, and unexpected twists and turns. My heart!! There is a lot going on in this last installment. The world building is fascinating. This is an excellent, and epic conclusion to this amazing series. Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I HIGHLY recommend this series.

Emotional turmoil galore with this one

Across Eternity, this duet, this whole series is unlike anything I’ve read before. Elle O’Roark’s way of storytelling, her masterful ability to weave time travel through various time periods is nothing short of mesmerizing perfection.

The plot is brimming with surprising twists that kept me fully invested, while the emotional arcs of the characters, particularly Sarah (Amelie) and Henri, put me through the wringer and then some. Their struggles with heartache, loss, betrayal, and ultimately, redemption, were so vividly portrayed that I found myself shedding tears, feeling frustration, and being utterly captivated throughout.

However, while I adore this series, the storyline, the concept to pieces and wished there were more books to come, Ms. O’Roark really tested me with this one, almost destroying the romance Sarah and Henry shared for me in the process. I’ll leave it at that as to not be spoiler-y, but it’s the sole reason my rating for this final instalment went from a solid 5 stars to only 3.5.

The audiobook experience, narrated by the talented Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East, elevates this story to another level. Their duet-style narration is simply brilliant and not to be missed. The chemistry between the narrators brought the characters to life, making every emotional nuance even more palpable.

Sarah & Henri - Book 2

If I thought there was nothing that surprised me anymore in romance I was well and truly mistaken. Sarah/Amelie’s journey in this book is so so unexpected and I’m without words to describe everything I felt whilst listening. The ups and downs, the love story, the WW II background, the 80’s throwback…. There’s so much going on but that ending… I’m heartbroken and satisfied all at once.
Now, Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East are the true brilliance behind the writing (which was phenomenal) but they did make the story come to life.

One of my top listens ever!!!

Stunning conclusion to an epic series. This story is truly unlike anything out there right now. IT had me on the edge of my seat and I found myself teary eyed so many times throughout. I was absolutely speechless with this beautifully dramatic story.

Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor knocked this out of the park. I felt every emotion deep in my chest with their performances and the story played out in my mind so vividly with their help. There were so many times I had to stop listening just to catch my breath at the highly emotional performances these two gave. I will never stop recommending this series in audio!

Mesmerizing!

How 𝙴𝚕𝚕𝚎 𝙾'𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚛𝚔 does it, I'll never know, but she absolutely creates mesmerizing stories each and every time. Filled with masterfully chiseled plot lines, tenderly chiseled characters that steal your heart, her stories are ones the remain with you long after reading/listening.

𝑨𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑬𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 is the second part of Henri & Sarah's story. I absolutely devoured the first part of their story and this one?? So gripping! So moving! 𝙴𝚕𝚕𝚎 𝙾'𝚁𝚘𝚊𝚛𝚔 had me all up in my feels, from anger to happiness to sadness, the journey she took me on was both nerve wracking, and wild.

Once again, 𝑨𝑬 is a time travel novel set in the 40s. We get not only these characters who are 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 than characters, but we get the historical elements. The details 𝙴𝙾 weaves into the story is magnificent!

𝑆ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑒 𝐸𝑎𝑠𝑡'𝑠 portrayal of Henri was magnifique! His smoothie voice was absolutely perfect for Henri, filling him with all the emotions! 𝑆𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑡ℎ𝑎 𝐵𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑚𝑜𝑜𝑟 was once again a queen with Sarah! She made her so real for me! Together, these two told this story in duet style in the most beautiful of ways!

𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 fans, why are you sleeping on this one!? Grab this entire series up, but especially this duet. It's unforgettable, it's stunning and I want more! Add in the touch of mystery & perfect amount of spice to the story and you won't be able to get enough!
