Stunning story brought to life.

I loved reading this story and I loved listening to it too. Looking forward to the next one. The narration was great and the story was brought to life in my mind.

Excellent swashbuckling romance with the thrill of battle thrown in.

Loved the hero and heroine who find themselves caught up in the Spanish / English conflict during the reign of Elizabeth 1st. I like the fact that the personal stories, whilst important, do not overshadow the carefully wrought battle scenes. It looks like the author, previously unknown to me, knows her history and I love the details of Elizabethan ships and weaponry.
Thoroughly recommend if you like a bit of history with your romance.
