Total transportation
I was totally transported into the story through vivid prose and so could you be - just so long as you've seen the movie once or twice. My imagination had to make one or two adjustments when the narrative departed from the screenplay but I was sucked in and thoroughly entertained.

A Review from the Autistic Nerd
Once in a while a film will come along and change the landscape of a genre. For me Alien is one of prosecutions the changed the creature feature genre. Love the original Alien and this novel Peter Guinness did a wonderful job with the narration.

Adds to the theatrical release
Enjoyed listening to the audio/written version of the movie. Didn't enjoy the narration of Brett's voice but didn't detract from the story.

Old friend
I very much enjoyed this.. A much loved film now an audio book ... I listened through in one sitting. Not a terrifying as the movie but the added ability to hear the characters thoughts added a new dimension .. Would listen again

Really enjoyed Alien!
As a massive Alien fan I really enjoyed the audiobook, the extra conversation between the crew and the slightly different scenes that play out. I've seen the movie many times and it still keeps me on the edge of my seat after all these years.

Brilliant!
Another great Alien title production!!!
I am biased because I love anything Alien or Predator related, but still this was brilliantly read with great effects’ overdubs and accompanying music.

A Nasty Story…
I remember watching the film. This audiobook is atmospheric, narrated very well and you soon get sucked into the story, and a nasty story it is! Listen to the very end to see if anyone gets out alive…. Excellent!
