George Martin has nothing on Mr Brown
The most brutal amazing heart wrenching ZA book in existence is called Dead. By T W Brown. There are 12 books. And they will RIP you limb from limb. Cannot recommend this series enough.

Got a bad wrap but so glad I gave it a go
Others may have focussed more on some of the negatives in their previous reviews but I see those negatives as a potential reality in this apocalyptic situation so took it easy listening. I was hooked from the first book although I got attached to some characters which I’d advise do not do! It’s great that these books have been combined into one audio book, well worth a credit in my opinion! I’ve listened to a lot in this genre and this does not disappoint!

Excellent stories
I really liked the way the story rotates around a few different groups, some ending and new ones starting. You can not predict who will get a happy ending and who will get munched! Engaging characters and a solid ending for such a long series of books.

Repetitive, predictable, dull.
I'm sure there are people that will listen to this salivating over the imagined imagery. We're not the same.I was intent that this was going to brilliant but there's nothing worse than being hopeful that you've found an epic. Yes I did make.it all the way through and honestly wondered after the first 12 hours why this book hadn't finished yet. By the hundredth hour I'd given up waiting for something unpredictable to happen.

Wow this is some long audio book i don't know why it's all on one book i would have been happy if it was On 4 books but saying that it's one of the best audio book this year got to be in my top ten I have about 200 each year going to give it 5 out of 5 100%

Great story and value for money.
I am quite disappointed that the highest rated review paints this collection as that of pure, sick deviance.
The book is 2 GB and took me 3 months to listen to on 1.5 speed for 1 hour every day.
There are numerous characters and story arcs that at the beginning, can be a little confusing, but as you go it all becomes a lot clearer. The narrator does a great job in bringing all of the characters to life.
There is gore and horrible events, but they are written in a Stephen King type of way, if you wanted highly descriptive shocks of gore and sex then you would be better off getting a James Herbert or Clive Barker book.
Even if you are not a huge zombie fan like me, the story and the sheer size of this collection is massive value for money.

frustratingly enjoyable
written with the freedom to kill any character without compromising the overall story made for a very refreshing take on the zombie apocalypse, on me on more than one occasion was left gasping in shock at the Twist and turn and pure Gore that is is this massive series and what has to be be one of the best narrations I have heard
