About this listen
This is an introduction to the Kikuyu language (sometimes referred to as Gikuyu or Mukuyu) as spoken in central Kenya by the Kikuyu people. This Bantu group live in the Mount Kenya region of Kenya and has approximately 8 million members making it the largest ethnic group in Kenya. The course teaches core vocabulary that can be put to use frequently, using repetition, music and sound effects to reinforce learning.
