Jak se však po náhlé otcově smrti ukáže, není to jediné dědictví, které mu spadlo do klína. Je tu ještě nebezpečně okouzlující bratr, na kterého podle všeho nějakým záhadným nedopatřením Tlustý Charlie úplně zapomněl. S jeho příchodem vtrhne do života Tlustého Charlieho chaos. Ale také dobrodružství a zábava. A tak, stejně jako jejich otec Anansi – bůh fantazie a vzpoury – musí i jeho synové zvrátit řád i konvence, ale hlavně změnit sebe sama. Smrt se totiž přelstít nedá.
