About this listen

Perturabo - master of siegecraft and the executioner of Olympia. Long has he lived in the shadow of his more favoured primarch brothers, frustrated by the mundane and ignominious duties which regularly fall to his Legion.

When Fulgrim offers him the chance to lead an expedition in search of ancient and destructive xenos weaponry, the Iron Warriors and the Emperor's Children unite and venture deep into the heart of the great star maelstrom that haunts Perturabo's dreams.

Pursued by vengeful survivors from Isstvan V and the revenants of a dead eldar world, they must work quickly if they are to unleash the devastating power of the Angel Exterminatus.

Fulgrim 2 meets a New Primarch to the Horus Heresy

such a well cordoned cast of characters has not been shown since before the time of Remembrancers.

this book has everything that makes this series great, and tells its over-arcing story with the mechanical grace of a clockwork Titan.

Amazing narration and gruesome story

Very Gorey book has a lot of hard to listen scenes that are narrated amazingly, really great book and is a must read if you are wanting to go down a path after book 5

the action bangs and keeps banging GM's best

GM at his best lots of Perturabo Lucius & Fabius

I just loved it, it's all Astartes story lines, I really enjoyed the portrayal of Perturabo,

for me GM is the Heresy,

this is very much a tangent in the over all story so you don't have to read this one really

I liked the cat and mouse dynamics in the book

love the story but can't stand David Timpson

this is a fantastic story but Timpsin is the wong in place. his voice just doesn't suit the hard, gruff characters.

Kinda like this Perturabo guy

Another awesome story in the Horus Heresy series. I would definitely recommend this book. Iron Warriors are almost the good guys

Worth the listen.

Very underrated book, very similar in style to the 1st books of the Heresy with a focus on Primarchs thoughts as well as how their legions view them. highly recommend.
