Summary

When American tourist Halley Hart accidentally drenches shy academic Henry Inglis in an Oxford coffee shop, it's like he was struck by lightning. But after a series of chance encounters — and a fleeting kiss — Halley disappears in a taxi — forgetting to leave Henry her mobile number.

The perfect autumn companion

The narrators really brought the story of Henry and Halley to life for me. The nature of the book lends itself well as an audio. I’m thoroughly enjoying it and am torn between knowing the outcome and wanting it to last longer.
