Cozy & heart-warming

I loved every bit of this book. I was looking for a heart-warming story and that’s what I found in Maira’s voice. It was wonderful to be taken on a journey through her family’s rancho, her traditions and stories. It was really beautiful to see her integrating her identities and weaving a narrative that allows her to stand strong and deeply rooted.
