Summary

In book one of the BenTed Rescue series, Benny, a cute mutt from Mississippi, tells us his story. Benny must go into an animal shelter when his aging owners can no longer care for him. As he waits and watches the cute puppies being adopted, he dreams of becoming a rescue dog himself. When an animal rescue group from New Jersey comes to the shelter, they take Benny back with them, and he is adopted by a loving family. As Benny and his new family get to know one another, they all learn the importance of acceptance, forgiveness, and unconditional love.
