Great end to the series

This book was full of ups and downs but was a brilliant end to the trilogy. Ali Dean does not disappoint in this final book.

Fantastic ending to the series!

Ali Dean knows how to give me a story I can fall in love with and at the same time sink my teeth into. This book picks up 6 months after the last book ended, and we are now in Roxie's senior year. There is a lot going on as Ryker begins to pull away from Stark and find a new CEO to take his place. There are questions coming up regarding work, and some even leading to murder! But who could be instigating it all? As Roxie and Ryker nurture their relationship, things heat up both in passion and in the boardroom! Dean gives it all to us! The new adult romance of Roxie and Ryker is refreshing, as these young adults are older than their years. They are focused and finding their way all at the same time. Then we have the legal issues, the history of Ryker and his mom's death and others. Suspense driven with twists and turns from completely unexpected suspects! Love d this conclusion to the series!

Leanne Woodward finishes out her narration with a strong and emotional performance! Roxie is a strong woman, and Woodward has built her with spunk and tenacity. She has passion for her sport and her man, and Woodward pulls it all out. Ryker is full of layers and many secrets and Woodward peels the layers and lets us into his secrets as her matures and trusts. It's a fabulous listen, with a cast of supporting characters, each their own personality and voice. Great narration!

Great conclusion

Well, I certainly didn't expect a lot of the things that happened in this story.

The only thing I knew for sure was that Ryker and Roxie would survive whatever was thrown at them—if they lived to the end of the book. I mean, after the cliffhanger surprise ending we got at the end of the last book, can you blame me for questioning whether they would live or not?

All of my questions were answered, some of them in a way I never imagined—while others were more straightforward.
For all the twists and turns this story took, I'm surprised I didn't end up with motion sickness. It was intense.

Leanne did a wonderful narration job, her accents were quite wonderful.

Good Listen

All the secrets are repealed. Ryker finds out more about his mother and the lies that his father has been told. Roxie is doing the best ever in skiing but with all the drama going on it is not her priority. Once all secrets are revealed they must figure out what is next for the both of them.

Ryker and Roxie!

The relationship between Ryker and Roxie just continues to grow stronger with each challenge they face. Ryker has made a decision for his future which means resigning from Stark Inc. to focus on snowboarding while Roxie is trying to decide if she should attend college or see how far she can get in the skiing world.

When they find out that Roxie’s biggest nemesis has passed away, they learn that the circumstances behind her death are suspicious which starts a whole chain of events. This allows the truths behind the suspense part of the storyline to be revealed, some of which you expect and some of which you don’t.

I liked seeing the evolution of both Ryker and Roxie as well as the secondary characters as they overcome the past, deal with the challenges in the present and leave you knowing that the future between them is bright. I enjoyed the performance of the narrator as she brought out the suspense and emotion of the story. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
