Step back in time to WW2 England with "Bones in the Blackout," a thrilling mix of mystery, danger, and romance. A must-listen for fans of gripping historical fiction that will hook you from the very first minute.

On Dr. Benjamin Bones’s first night in the quaint Cornish village of Birdswing, a shocking hit-and-run leaves him seriously injured and his unfaithful wife dead.

As he recuperates, Lady Juliet, a fiery aristocrat who won’t take no for an answer, pulls him into a sleuthing partnership destined to change both their lives. Suspecting that Ben’s late wife was murdered, he and Juliet dive headfirst into the investigation, questioning Birdswing's most eccentric and suspicious residents. In a time of ration books, bomb shelters, and relentless Blackout drills, Ben and Juliet race to unmask a killer lurking in the shadows. With ingenuity and just a little supernatural aid from the mysterious Fenton House ghost, they uncover a web of secrets, lies, and hidden motives that will keep you guessing until the heart-pounding climax.

Not bad

Not the most original story. Hero and ugly duckling aristo fall slowly in love during the investigation into the rather squishy death of his wife. I wasn’t really bothered who did it in the end but the main characters kept things trotting along.
