Summary

This is the nine-book series of comedy-mysteries featuring the tough and crass "unscrupulous bastard" himself - a rude, wise-cracking private detective who happens to be a hugely successful ladies' man, thanks largely to what he immodestly refers to as his "Adonis-like features".

In a series of tales involving murder, blackmail, and other assorted acts of violence and deceit, Brett learns the hard way that there's a steep price to be paid for being such an unscrupulous bastard - and listeners may very well feel that he gets exactly what he deserves, and more!

Not recommended for the politically-correct crowd.

Such a 1970s man

I loved the narration of Travis Henry Carter.

What can I say the character of Brett Cornell is not for everyone. Sexist, gross are the good points. I did laugh out loud. Honestly take it and remember can change...hmmm
With the help of Ginger, we see his character grow.
Loved, this mystery series.
You have been warned. Got to say it was fun.

Not for me

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Too much testosterone flying about in these books for me. Male chauvinism at its finest don’t read if you get offended by women being treated as sex objects 😂
