Learned a lot!
I really enjoyed the approach this book takes. It encourages you to go through slowly, one chapter per week, doing the exercises and really thinking about how you feel and why you feel that way. The book encourages you to change aspects of your thinking and your behavior by suggesting alternative ways of being. A lot of the material proved to be an eye opener for me. It is essential that the listener takes the time to write down their thoughts as requested throughout the book. Take the time to review these notes as you progress through the book, you will learn a lot.

Awesome techniques!
I bought this workbook to familiarize myself with CBT techniques and its foundation. The book is written clearly, without any complicated jargon and the examples provided are easy to relate to. I would highly recommend this workbook to either a a self-help or for someone, like in my case, wanted to learn more about CBT and gain quick knowledge about using CBT model with depressed individuals.

Great resource
Excellent book! Can be used for your self or for patients and clients. Broken down into steps and is in understandable language for the lay person, yet suitable for the professional. Definitely a book to get and keep. A great resource for anyone who is interested in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Great for rewiring thoughts
This is a straight forward, easy to understand CBT book. It explains what you are doing every step of the way, and is really very helpful. This is still a very good book, and while I'm far from finished with it, I've already begun to experience some relief
