About this listen
The gods walk among us. And they just might steal your soul...or your heart.
I thought I'd survived everything life could throw at me. All I wanted was to keep my distance from the criminals I work for and get my little brother out of the hell that is our mother's house.
Then I died and woke up to four stunningly hot gods telling me I'm now a valkyrie.
Sly, sharp Loki. Jovial but ferocious Thor. Dreamily compassionate Baldur. Grim and secretive Hod. They all have something to teach me. And around them, my walls start to crack.
But the gods didn't summon me just for kicks. Their king is missing, and they need me to find him. The first three valkyries they sent on the job never made it back.
More power is awakening in me than I could ever have imagined - and the gods' enemies are more devious than even they knew. It's going to take every trick in the book for me to save myself, my brother, and these divine men who're getting under my skin in the most alluring way.
I'm Aria Watson, and Valhalla ain't seen nothing yet.
Contains mature themes.

Amazing book
I loved this book. It was written well and the Narration was great I've heard worse.
Aria is such a great character she's been through a lot and just wants to keep her brother "Pete" safe from people like her mother and her never-ending conquests.
Sadly she dies but is resurrected as a Valkyrie, not just any Valkyrie, she was brought back by Loki the trickster, Thor the god of Thunder and the twins, Hod the god of darkness, and Baldur the god of light. She has a little bit of each of their magic in her which makes her different from past Valkyries. Hod and the others help her get Pete a new home somewhere he will be safe and Aria can go on to help the Gods. The Gods have been searching for Odin the All-Father and to find him they need the help of a Valkyrie who is linked to Odin and Valhalla.
I'm looking forward to listening to book two.

Born Again
This was a very good audiobook featuring Oden, Thor, Freya, Loki, Balder, and Hold. Oden is missing and only a Valkery can find him and that is how the adventure begins. Ari, is newly dead when the God's resurrect her into a Valkery. Very entertaining, exciting and funny. All you can want in a book. I am onto the next book

Great Story, Poor Narrator
I loved this book, so was interested to hear the audio version. Sadly, it didn’t work for me. The female narrator was fine, but the man... good grief. Never have the Norse gods sounded so American! Bizarre and I couldn’t do it. Returned.

Hooked from the beginning
But a little rushed at the end!
I really enjoyed this 1st book in the series, but the end seemed a little rushed. Lots of story content. Narrators were good. Looking forward to book 2.

Tried to like, but …
I wanted to like this book and forced myself to finish it , but just found it ‘hard going’. I read a lot of fantasy and litrpg so thought this would be a book I’d like but I found the story slow and couldn’t engage with the characters, the MC was annoying and the gods boring.
