Story good

Enjoyed the book, didn’t enjoy the accents of the men, spoilt it for me . They all sounded the same.

again!

I should have known after the Widows series but(spoiler alert) after many hours invested in a lengthy series, LaPlante kills off the main character. This is becoming a habit that has put me right off any more of her books.

A good storyline wasted

Struggled through to the end, ending a bit of an anti-climax.
Almost gave up several times due to terrible narration .

🥺😥😢😭 Bring her back 🥺😥😢😭

Lorraine deserved her happy ending, the love she finally found. It's not the first time I cried for the loss of a character but a long long time since I did.

Very very good

I thought this was an excellent way to finish the series.

The character of Lorraine Page was a difficult person to like, she had clearly got demons and had a lot of issues, but she also wasn't the nicest person in many ways, well I didnt think so anyway. I thought it was a good idea to keep this to just a trilogy, and the character was kept as quite realistic as regards her issues.

Typically I liked the dog the most.

Very good storyline

Yet another excellent audio book from Lynda la plante. Twists and turns with an emotional ending. Narrator bought the characters to life and maintained a good tempo.

Good plot but laughable narration

Gripping but dated tale(derogatory terms used for various people), but the narrator should never attempt more than one character’s voice, definitely avoid trying to do a male. This put me off the tale as it was cringeworthy.

SUPERB

Can't say much without giving away the story, but, this book 3 of the trilogy was heartwarming, and heartbreaking. I loved all 3 books, so wished there was more. Such a fabulous listen. Really highly recommend you purchase all 3.Gr8 value for money and an amazing journey with Lorraine Paige. 10 *

BRILLIANT!!!

I have read all 3 of this trilogy and was hooked from the start on each story. I got the killer very early on, but worth all the twists and turns, I did doubt myself. I'm now going to star prime suspect and have no doubt they'll be just as brilliant.
