This book rings the right bell
I enjoyed this book, in fact I loved the whole series. There is something about witch's that have just discovered magic that really intrigues me, all the mishaps and learning makes for a funny listen, add in a mystery to solve and I am hooked. This book proved to be no exception, although it was the experienced witch that was having all the problems this time round. The characters are great from ghost cats finding clues to boy friend's and uncles who are up to mischief, there was so much going on there was never a dull moment. The mystery itself was interesting and I liked how it played out. This is book five so there was a few referrals to things that happened in the previous books but on the whole I don't think you have to read them in order.
When Tamsyn's Aunt Gwen performs a hand fastening ceremony with her beloved boyfriend Tamsyn thought the worse thing to happen would be she was left in charge of cooking for all the guests at the B&B they both run or trying to stop her boyfriend and uncle from blowing up the island as they turn there hand to making alcohol.. She was wrong. At the party to commemorate the restoration of the church bell a skeleton is found. A wallet is found with the bones and the sheriff thinks it is an old teacher that faith ain't Gwen but the fact that Tamsyn is looking at his ghost she knows he has been misidentified. Can she find a way to convince the sheriff? Looking into the past to solve a murder proves to be very important when all the signs point to a connection to her family or a guest at the B&B. Is she living with a killer under her roof?
I liked the narrator, she brought the story to life by giving each character there own voice.
