Summary
Bridging the hatred of centuries did not come easy for Freyrík Farr and Ayden Vaska. As prince of a war-torn human province, Freyrík could ill afford to fall for an enemy. The concept is interesting and well written. The characters are likeable and the narration is good.

New narrator was the final nail in the coffin
Did not finish, stopped at 20%. The change of narrator mid-series is too jarring, since it's plain as day this narrator either didn't listen to the previous book or decided against that interpretation. This narrator might be good/ even better, but not in this situation. The result is a very different characterization. I also really disliked Freyrik's continuous excuses and skimmed reviews on GR to see if he redeems himself. That would be a no.
