About this listen
Demetrius and Cody, best friends since kindergarten, open Critter Catchers, an animal control business, expecting to catch and release the standard raccoons, possums, and squirrels. In short order, however, they find themselves also chasing down bigger and more dangerous things that prowl the night.
As they work to drum up enough critter business to keep the lights on, they also put their lives on the line to make sure their small hometown of Parson’s Hollow isn’t inundated with monsters. And during it all, they try to figure out whether or not things between them should move past the best friend boundary into something much more serious.
Now you can listen to all the funny, spooky, sexy shenanigans Demmy and Cody get up to in the first four books of the original series in this boxed set collection: Terror by Moonlight, Chasing the Chupacabra, Swamped by Fear, and The Devil of Pinesville.

I loved by the end.
I have to admit that this started out a bit slow for me. The narrator did an okay job. He had very distinctive voices for each character but his delivery took me a bit to get used to it.
This is definitely a slow burn friends to lovers series. Cody was a bit of a jerk at times but redeemed himself by the end.
I loved the variety of critter/monsters featured and the things the two MCs had to go through. There was an interesting cast of secondary characters, too.
There was a pretty satisfying HFN by the end of book 4 and now I want to move right on to the next boxed set.
