A must have guide for college kids!!
This audiobook is essential for anyone gearing up for, or starting, college. The authors deliver practical strategies to help you navigate the transition smoothly, addressing key topics like effective study techniques, building meaningful relationships, and mastering time management. But MORE than that, it also dives into less discussed topics like dorm etiquette, party dos and donts, and even staying safe on campus. We had nothing like this growing up! This is THE handbook for college preparedness. College is so much more than choosing a curriculum and doing well in your courses. It's a time of evolution and independence and this guide will empower young adults to take on this exciting adventure with knowledge and confidence. I'm buying this for my 17 yr old niece because it covers everything she could possibly be concerned about when thinking about that next big phase in life!

A valuable resource for the college bound
What I love about this guide is that it's not just another "here's how to be a good student" book. It's like having a real conversation with someone who actually gets what you’re going through.
The step-by-step survival guide for the first week? Absolute lifesaver. It doesn’t just throw vague advice at you but tells you exactly what to expect—and how to handle it—so you don’t feel like you’re spiraling from day one.
Time management tips? Spot-on. Social skills and making connections? This book has you covered. Plus, it's refreshingly honest about the less glamorous aspects of college life, like dorm conflicts, party culture, and even budgeting (which, let’s be real, we all need help with).
It also tackles stuff most people don’t talk about—like mental health awareness and personal safety. It's practical, but also deeply supportive, making sure you’re prepared for the emotional and physical challenges, too.
If you’re even a little anxious about what’s ahead, this book is your go-to. It’s not about perfection, but about giving you the tools to succeed in your own way and setting you up for a killer freshman year.
