Summary
Hayden Crowe fronts an all-girls band down in Austin, Texas. Between tending bar so her sister can stay in school and dealing with the fallout after their addict father skipped town, she hasn't exactly had time to join the social media freakout over the recent outing of vampires and werewolves.

I enjoyed the narration of Ashley Bodnar
Hayden is the lead singer of a band and full of humour and sassy. Ethan has crush on Hayden, but he believes he can't have her. All changes when Hayden comes looking for his help, he becomes protective he is of her. The romance is hot and steamy.
This book has paranormal romance, humour and great characters.

Discovering the dark side of wolf shifters
This is the start of a great new series by Kat Kinney and a lovely dark wolf shifter romance. It's full of action, drama, trauma, passion, love and steam, with a HEA.
Hayley spends her life working to help her sister stay in school, and fronting her band; but when she's attacked and wakes in an alley with a note on her arm "hospitals not safe" she realises her only option is to go to the one who broke her heart for help.
Ethan is an adopted son of the local Alpha / sheriff, having struggled with trauma as a child he now manages a local bar "Dark" where Hayley had worked with him for a while. But he'd pushed her away three years before when things had become heated between them as he couldn't reveal himself to her, by pack law. But when she finds him after hours and he realises she's been bitten he knows he has to protect her. With their wolfs marking each other things become more complicated but he knows how he's always felt.
With someone stalking Hayley can Ethan protect her, from them and the werewolf council, and can they keep her sister safe (and in the dark)?
I really enjoyed this book and I enjoyed listening to it just as much, with Ashley Bodnar bringing the characters to life.
