Relationships get equal billing with murder investigations, and snappy dialogue gets as much real estate as murder.
Cynthia Barrett performs this title with a winsomely old-fashioned voice befitting the material. She bestows a unique way of speaking on each character, whether they are male or female, Canadian or Dutch, and her animated accents help accelerate the plot.
