The Best Way Of Confirming My Developed Opinion
A big thank you to the writer, narrator and publisher for a book that neatly allows me to feel justified with my opinions and ways to move forward with them.

Short and to the point
I really liked this book. Really interesting look into the information dystopia that is just around the corner thanks to digital disinformation. The book is a little broader than just video deep fakes but thats not a bad thing. There is also a chapter on Covid19 disinformation; it must have been added in just immediately before going to press and as I write this review in January 2021 I must say that chapter has proven somewhat prescient. Overall a really interesting book.

Competent but avoids the deeper issues
Whilst there is nothing wrong with the areas highlighted in the book, the absence of detailed look at how and why the ‘trusted’ news sources have lost the trust of the huge sections of the public is very noticeable. An interesting book however, if I had know it would skip these sorts of issues I wouldn’t have started it.
