Summary
"Peter und der Wolf" wurde von Sergej Prokofjew auch ein "musikalisches Märchen für Kinder" genannt. Auf leicht verständliche Weise bringt der Erzähler Sascha Hehn die verschiedenen Akteure (Ente, Katze, Vogel, Wolf, Peter) in Verbindung mit Instrumenten, deren Klangfarbe das jeweilige Lebewesen charakterisiert. Auch in Camille Saint-Saens' "Karneval der Tiere" werden Tierlaute durch Instrumente imitiert. Hier jedoch ist das Spektrum der Lebewesen viel breiter! Von Löwen wird berichtet, von Elefanten, Gazellen, Eseln, Schildkröten, Kängurus, bis hin zu Fossilien. Im großen Finale schließlich treten alle Tiere noch einmal zusammen an. Ein großes Spektakel!
