Will we survive; what is yet to come? Those who look for the truth already know; those who fail to search are lost; but those with an open mind will soon come to know...The Descendants of Man.

Much of the information that was obtained to create this story is believed to be true by many people around the world. Fact or fiction? You decide.

Narration needs to be re-thought

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The Book

There were some interesting idea's but nothing that blew me away. My main issue (as with Unfathomable in this series) was the narration, this surprised me as it's different narrators and i'd have thought the chance of getting two bad narrators in the same series should be unlikely. Didn't finish due to this.

The Production

The narrators accent was an odd one and he had an odd way of reading, I think it was an Australian/New Zealand accent and it really didn't fit in with the americanised text and his style didn't fit the subject matter. Also when saying the female characters name 'Tara' sounds like saying 'Terror' this isn't great for a narrated story. I know it's how the accent is but this should be considered when hiring people and caught in any QA.

Descendant of man

This was a good book to listen to. You really have to pay attention to what's going on in this story. I wish the narrator's work is better.
