Turning sadness into opportunity
When I, the youngest kid in the family, left for college, my parents got a new puppy literally on the way home from dropping me off at school. They were having trouble with the idea of adjusting to a house with just them in it. I thought it was silly until it was my turn. That empty nest feeling can be daunting and heavy, and this book does a great job of reminding you with the challenging parts, there are even more potential positives that you can focus on. About to be empty nesters... maybe
My house has three generations in it right now, but that may change soon, depending on my daughter's success. My youngest (20) is about to move out, so it will feel like an empty nest as far as responsibilities are concerned, anyway. This audiobook had good points on the new directions I could take; I found it uplifting, hopeful, and helpful. Great listen!

Encouraging
I'm not going to lie, I'm not quite there yet but it will come soon and it is a huge anxiety, so I picked up this audiobook thinking I'd rather be prepared. And I'm so glad I did! The case studies and advice are so encouraging. I knew it was a phase that could have its positives too but now I am genuinely looking forward to entering a phase of my relationship with my children,
