Summary
I'm an enforcer, it's what I do.
I was brought to the Boneyard Brotherhood to do one thing, keep everyone in line. Break our code, run afoul of our laws? It's my boot that will be bringing you back in check. If there was a problem, I'm the one who took care of it; by whatever means necessary. My own safety was never a concern. I enjoyed the thrill, the Adrenalin and the rush that I had lost since leaving the Marines. But, all of that changed when I met her.
Dylan, the nurse who patched me up after a mission went a bit afoul, she managed to setup shop in my head. It was something no other woman had done before; make me care about not only her but myself. Suddenly, I minded if I was going to be in danger, shot at or stabbed. I had to change, for her. But, would the Brotherhood let me?
This is a hot, hot, hot standalone MC romance novel. If you want to dive into the world of the Boneyard Brotherhood check out book one, Overhaul, for more!

Wow
I loved this so much the narrator was fantastic and the book had so much depth. I love a book where the H is all I’m happy I don’t need a relationship and then bang he meets the woman that completes him. A very solid 5 star book can’t wait to read more by this author

Gideon Welles, read me some more....
If you're after a hero with a gravelly voice, then narrator Gideon Welles is your man! Gideon is great as Jeremiah Cole. His deep voice carries across a spectrum of feelings from caring to scary. You would think that such a deep voice would come with a female sounding quite 'manly' but the voice of Dylan is also well done. I would definitely listen to other books read by Gideon.
This is my first Amber Burns book (audio or print) so I had no set expectations at the start. Overall, I enjoyed the story and did not feel I was missing anything by not having read the first book in the Boneyard Brothers series.
Even as a member of an MC that espouses brotherhood, Cole is very much a loner. It's not until he meets Dylan and recognises her importance to him personally, that he begins to open himself up to his other MC brothers. For me, this story is more about Cole's journey as person and his role within the club than it is about his relationship with Dylan. He's a club enforcer and the book does not shy away from the detail. It's not as gory as say, Susan Fanetti's Signal Bend series, but we do get to read about the messy bits.
Dylan and Cole are hot together and the sexy times are well written. It is a case of instant attraction and while I do believe they are suited as a couple, I wish the story was longer so we could spend more time with them.
The litmus test is whether I enjoyed this book enough to want to read more by this author, and the answer is yes.

Enforcer
I so loved Gideon Welles as the narrator for this book.
Cole an ex-Marine is the Enforcer for the Boneyard Brotherhood M.C. Cole meets Dylan an ER nurse while he's in the ER getting stitched up after getting stabbed. They have great chemistry together and some very hot sex scenes. Dylan fits in so well with the Brotherhood, she is a strong woman.
