About this listen

Chase is crazy busy behind the scenes at the fraternity get-together, so when an alumnus comes in, he just notes a hot man in his vicinity and goes right back to work.

When Ronan gets hurt and Chase feeds him, Chase's reaction opens up a whole new world of possibilities. Ones that Ronan wants to explore.

Is Chase compatible with vampires? Or could he possibly be something more?

Tags: Vampire story; same universe as Max and Zander because, yes, the plot bunnies absolutely ran wild with this one; I am not in charge of this trainwreck, just along for the ride like you are; Chase has his airheaded moments; there is absolutely no chill where Ronan is concerned; bad guys have human sacrifice written all over them; the whole story is mindless violence and fluff; sorry not sorry for this.

Great

Sweet story, liked the narrator. Could easily tell who was who and he brought the story to life.

GREAT NOVELLA

Despite being a novella, the book was great-especially the first half or so which was more the wooing and two cuties falling in love part, and the part I loved the most.
It was also my first time listening to Derek Prince and he did an amazing job!

cute story, boring narration

cute, low angst story, sadly made a bit meh by the narration. Flat tone, no distinction between characters and no life.
Perhaps better to read than listen to

Surprisingly good

Surprisingly good. I don't usually read vampire romances. Liked story. Hot and convincing premise. Characters well defined. Loved that college student identified new sexual identity and way this told in story form. I felt that character had choice and thisv was not written in a belittling manner. To often romances try to make characters sound mature and intelligent, then completely forget they've spent chapters building up story and characters discriptions n motives. Then turn around and and make them seem dum lacking identity, strenght. Im glad to see this book read true giving identity and strenght to each character.
