Asha was born into a family of prostitutes. Determined to make her own path, Asha enrolls in a nursing program and lands a decent job. After blowing the money she receives from a career-ending car accident, she finds herself strung out on pain medication and low on cash.
Desperate for money to feed her addiction, Asha teams up with her Aunt Lynn and hits the strip of the notorious Cash Avenue. Asha's life is interrupted when her current boyfriend is gunned down, in cold blood, by her neighbor Shon's boyfriend, Manson - who also happens to be her arch enemy, Carly's baby daddy.
