Brilliant start to a new series

Melody runs away from home on her eighteenth birthday and joins the carnival. But behind the glitter and greasepaint. It's a dark and dangerous place. The only person she feels she can trust is Conner. This is a great first in series. I am off to read the next story.
The narration is excellent.
