Summary
Learn French with Ease!
Do you want to learn French quickly? Or perhaps you already know the basics, but you still have difficulties in assimilating this charming language? Do not worry; this audiobook will help you.
By using this audiobook together with practice, you can learn to understand, read, write, and speak this beautiful language. French tends to have a reputation among English speakers as hard to learn, but it’s easier than you might think. Many courses of language study assume you are going there for vacation, and so begin their lessons with everyday survival phrases that people use. There is some of that in this audiobook, but consider that verbs are what make a language.
During each chapter of this audiobook, you will be guided, and each part will have examples, followed by practical exercises.
Just some of the questions and topics covered in this audiobook include:
- Pronunciation
- The French alphabet
- How to count in French
- The time, date, and calendar
- The elements of a sentence
- The verbs of group 1-3
- Conjugation
- Different types of sentences
- Expressions
- French vocabulary for travel and vacation
- And much more!

Don’t use this book if you want to go to France!
This sounds like a French Canadian rather than a European French speaker. As such it is very misleading. I have stopped using it after half an hour listening as the pronunciation is incomprehensible to a European French speaker. For me it was a waste of money. The free sample did not include enough spokenFrench to realise it would be useless to me .

Not Great wanted French French.
Not told its actually Canadian French so theres a terrible accent if you are trying to learn native French. Many words are different in Canadian french as well. A lot of the words are all smoothed together because he's talking very quickly.

‘R’s pronounced incorrectly!
The narrator uses the front of the mouth to pronounce R as in Spanish instead of the back as in French, misleading and the disappointing to my ear as a learner.

Avoid if not Canadian
Bizarre accent which my partner (who is French) now tells me is French Canadian. Does however form good basis for entertaining impressions around the house.

an impressive book
Do you have any additional comments?
This is a great book! Yes, you will learn French up to an intermediate level if you complete the book. It builds upon itself with each lesson and new chapter. I just don't understand the negative reviews. You need to give the book a chance. Each Chapter has constant reviewed words in it and difference breaks for vocabulary study. I highly recommend it!

I Liked It
Do you have any additional comments?
I definitely like this book. I learn French using Fluent French software and I bought this book as a supplementary to the software.
The book explains everything clearly, it is very easy to follow and it leaves nothing obscure. As the title says "step-by-step" it builds the foundations of the French grammar.
