What a delightful treasure

I saw a brief advert for this book on instagram, and believe Evanna Lynch to be a perfect presenter for these treats and goodies, that enhance the reader, movie watcher or visitor to the Harry Potter Studios. Beautifully read by all the actors, it ebbs and flows with insights, detail, background and secrets. I enjoyed it immensely.

Voldermort....VOLDERMORT!!

I really enjoyed this additional text expanding on the world we grew up with and adored. The narration was lovely but I would have preferred Stephen Fry to have narrated alongside Evanna Lynch as I found the male narrator irritating as he kept pronouncing Voldermort as 'Voldermor' and it just grated on me.
The noise effects could have been more enjoyable but they were sporadic and threw me off as they sometimes cut out the voices off.
still a really enjoyable experience and I would listen again.

Super Interesting and Fun - but "Voldemore?"

I've thoroughly enjoyed this book. the information was fascinating, I enjoyed Evana's provision of context to each chapter and the overarching idea of giving people this kind of access to the pottermore lore is brilliant! I've been a fan for 25 years, but I never made time to sink into pottermore. thoroughly enjoyable.

BUT - why oh why does everyone pronounce "Voldemort" as "Voldemore"?? If this is the proper pronunciation of the name, as directed by J.K herself, how did it go through 8 movies and 7 audio books before being picked up on this one?? admittedly, this pronunciation was profoundly frustrating to me.

Very pleasant for potter fans

I enjoyed the story and additional details and information about the potterverse. I liked how there were different narrators. I suppose you could say that the sound effects were atmospheric, but personally half of the time they were a little annoying (not that it ruined the book). The legth of it is also perfect.

Excellent publication BUT unnecessary sound effects

This is a must for any HP⚡️fan. However, I have to say that the sound effects are very off putting and frankly unnecessary. The audio reading itself would have been very pleasing, but it’s a total distraction and not suitable at bed time to fall asleep with!!
It is a pure JOY to be taken back to the wizarding world and I am thrilled Audible released this. But please please add a copy without the background music/soundeffects!

Great for HP fans

If you’re interested in the world of Harry Potter this is a great listen. I enjoyed it and the background noises didn’t bother me. Bit confused about the pronunciation of some words. When did Voldemort become VoldeMORE? Someone tell me I’m not alone in noticing this!

Spellbinding!

It is just what you want from the world of Harry Potter. Just when I thought I knew everything, I am submerged further into the world of Harry all over again. Wonderful book, lovely cast.

Great Narration but Pointless Background Noise

I really enjoyed the way this book has been put together, it's great to learn back story and interesting information to expand the Potter world.
The narrators are excellent and I was excited to listen to them read this book, however all the way through there are irritating backgrounds noises that appear to be part of the recording but I can't see the value they add and it some instance's they obliterate the words of the narrator. It's a real shame because the rustling papers, wand swishing and other such noises have significantly lessened my enjoyment of this book.

Annoying background music

Information was interesting but the narrators voice grated and the background sound track was almost painful
