This book is no pie crust

I liked this story as it is a nice easy cozy mystery that doesn't tax the brain with a complicated plot line and with it being short it is great for a car or train ride.
When a prisoner is released from jail Sabrina's gut tells her there is going to be trouble. Roger went to prison for being the master mind behind a ponzi scheme that cost a lot of people there hard earn money and not everybody is happy with his short jail sentence. Sabrina's gut turns out to be right and it is not long before he is receiving death threats but worse is to come and it is not long before she is standing over his dead body. With plenty of very angry suspects Sabrina and her husband have there work cut out for them to narrow the suspects down to one.
The narrator is the same one used for the other books in this series and she is okay but she sounds excited all the time or like she is finishing every sentence with a question.

Fruit Pie with a Side of Danger

Life goes on for these two, but once again get thrown into a murder investigation and a personal relationship takes a hit. I loved listening to this mystery just as much as the previous ones and want to see what comes next. I missed that their wasn’t as much family interaction in this one but that’s how real life is sometimes so makes sense it would be like that in a book. Narration was done really well also.
