Summary
Is your daughter ready for puberty? Let her discover everything she needs to know ahead of time--and in the privacy of her own room.
Girls today are hitting puberty about a year earlier than they did in the '70s…. The reality is, your daughter needs to know the ins and outs sooner than you might realize.
Adolescence is a tricky phase of life–raging hormones, body changes, friendship struggles, new feelings to navigate…and it’s happening to girls at a younger and younger age.
If you’re worried about whether a young girl in your life is ready for the changes coming her way (or if you’re nervous about having "the talk" with her), a good plan of action is to give her the tools she needs to understand it at her own pace.
That’s exactly what you’ll get with this girl-friendly guide, which is geared specifically towards girls at the very beginning of their journey to adulthood. Rest assured that your daughter…or your granddaughter…or your niece…will find everything she needs to know within this audiobook–from emotions, to periods, to her changing body… It’s all here, and she can listen to it at her own pace–and dip into it whenever she needs to. Help her prepare to blossom into the woman she’s going to be with confidence and a bright smile.

This book addresses the subject of puberty in great detail. It is really helpful and answers questions that most young girls would have growing up. A must-read!

Educative and helpful
Ooh what a book. I never realized that there were these numerous questions for our younger girls around. I believe the expectations are that we set boundaries around for our girls to follow with the understanding as to why.

Great book for teenage girls
My young niece is going through a lot of teenage angst at the moment so I got this book for her to read while she is staying with me. She is still reading it which is a good sign but I read it first to make sure it was suitable. It provides really good explanations about the challenges of teenage years for girls and the hormonal and bodily changes they are going through and how it affects emotions and behavior. I think this book will go a long way to helping my niece keep her worries and moods in perspective by understanding how normal it is to feel the way she does.

Great for young girls or parents
Facts of life are facts of life and I really appreciated the positivity of embracing a young girl's transition through puberty because it is rarely easy. When I was growing up general consensus I felt like this time was taboo, awkward, and embarrassing. I love authors like London Ford is changing that mindset to embracing and positivity and this is a beautiful thing for a young lady to go through. This book covers so much not only what to expect but how you might handle all the upcoming changes. I really enjoyed listening and will hang on to this for my granddaughter as well as recommend for any mom with girls approaching puberty or teen. A wonderful resource to prepare young women to embrace their essence of womanhood.

I really needed this!
As I have a 12-year-old girl it is time for her to understand the new phase of her life: puberty. It can be pretty uncomfortable to communicate about this but this content just helped me a lot and prepared me for this chat. Thanks a lot! Definitely recommended!

Helped me talk about difficult subjects
When it comes to puberty, I feel like there is so much I need to say but don't know how to say it. And then even if I bring up a topic, it can make things really awkward...so this book is nice because she doesn't need to worry about what I think or feeling nervous. She can read this on her own without worrying about anyone else.

Great Resource For Dealing With Female Puberty
I am a mother of three boys and have no experience raising a girl. However, I remember my puberty years and I clearly remember that as a girl goes through puberty, we do experience many exciting changes and many troubling moments. This time in life can easily be overwhelmed by depression, anxiety or "adult problems" such as having your period, which can come with a fear of pregnancy without adult guidance. Books like this didn’t exist in my era. This audiobook is a good resource for young girls going through this crazy time in their lives.

Great guide for girls
This is a great guide for girls who are starting to have questions! Helpful for parents too, kind of refreshes the knowledge and memories of what girls this age are going through and overall makes it a tad easier to talk about. Would recommend!
