Summary

Lou McCallister owns Howl, the only surviving queer bar in Boston. When an investment opportunity to save the floundering bar is inadvertently sabotaged by Clementine Darby, Howl's newest employee, Lou is ready to give up. Now Clem will do anything she can to make it right and keep Howl alive, but will she be able to save the bar in time? This sapphic Coyote Ugly reimagining brings the funny and the feels.

Contains mature themes.

pride

finally got to listen, any book with a pride festival is a must for me, my first in 1976 was part of Notting Hill in London.
this is a wonderfully low angst story of a community and friends at a gay bar, of coming together to save the bar by raising funds to buy the building it's in before the lease expires. a new staff member who melts the owners heart, and of the love the people closest to you are your real family.
warmth and happiness to listen to again and again.
