Wordy and repetitive

If all the repetitive scenes, feelings and fluff were edited correctly I feel this would be a single novel stand alone. Too much back and forth between characters, Disappointing ending, hardly any character development. The grammar and switches between past and present tense was off putting.
Not a huge fan of this author's work and this is my first rodeo with Ms Sky. No idea why a best seller with NYT. Hard pass on any other works by this author.
