Summary
Jane Walsh was the hardest-working talent agent in California. Even now, checking in on her previous client Elise, she was never far from her cellphone. At any time, it could buzz with another offer from a sponsor or another nervous breakdown from a client. It was nothing but tension and high stakes, balancing personalities both big and small. But in a place like Fairhaven Park, she thought she might be able to finally relax, if but for a week.
Hartwin Best appreciated the simple things in life. A cold beer. A warm bed. A good ol' family gathering. Luckily for him, this week would afford all three. A very special ceremony was about to take place, one which would fully welcome his brother Dietrich's newborn son Isaak into the Clan. The scent of Elise's friend lingered in his nose, intriguing him.
None could see the clouds of smoke rising in the distance.

Enjoyable
This is a simple sweet storyline. With likeable characters and an easy listen it’s perfect to switch off too. Excellent performance from Meghan.

I listened to the first three books in this series in quick succession, took a break and then put on Hart for a quick listen. The world Becca Fanning has created is fun and I like that each book is a standalone but if you read in order you get to see more of the previous couples' HEAs. Also, you meet Jane (via the phone) in Dietrich and so it makes sense that she's there to see their baby. I like the tradition shown about shifting as a baby which I've never seen in a shift story. Also, Jane and Hart's initial meeting was super cute (and a bit cheesy but it made me smile all the same). It still bugs me that you haven't actually met the person from the dating agency. Hopefully this will change in the final book of this series. Overall, Hart was fun, even better if you read in order.
